Our little Cupcake
We miss our little cupcake. She was the sweetest, most loving baby
we have ever known. Rest in Peace, Sweet Angel.

Dear Lila,
Where do I start? We miss you so much, you were with us for only 86 short days.
When they told us pneumonia, I couldn’t believe it- especially since they told us SIDS first.
We made every effort to keep you healthy. Sometimes, things are just out of our hands.
We’ve put all of our trust and faith in God, and our savior- Jesus.
They are the only ones who can get anyone through a time of trial such as this- with such grace and peace.
God is in control of everything! It will all work out, and those who believed in Christ,
no matter how much suffering they had there, they will be free of that for eternity.
Jesus died for all of us, he loves us. That I know for sure.
I miss you, Lila, but I know where you are, and I know I'll see you again. In that, I am comforted.

A Poem I wrote for our Daughter-
Today I found a bird’s nest .. So precious and so sweet.
It made me think of Lila bird- who flew ‘fore she used her feet.

She made it up to the sky to visit with our Lord
She rests her head in Heaven now, Of this I am assured
*
Her work here was brief, though we know it was finished
Her time here was short, But her impact, not diminished.

I’ll spy her face again one day In God’s Heavenly home
We’ll be a family again, And we’ll never feel alone.
*
God will take away our worries, He’ll wipe away the tears
He’ll restore bodies to perfection, And remove the wrinkled years
*
Our hearts will be filled with joy forever we will spend our days
Worshipping our Lord and savior and giving God all praise.
