She passed away in her sleep at almost three months old.  We still don't know exactly what the cause was and perhaps we never will.  One thing we do know, however, is that she is safe in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.  She could not stay, but we will go to her.  She was- and always will be..

Our sweetheart, our Lila Bird, & our Cupcake-

a blessing, a daughter, a cousin, a grandchild, a sister, a niece..

She means so much to so many, despite her short time on this Earth.

A Poem I wrote for our Daughter-

Today I found a bird’s nest ..  So precious and so sweet.

It made me think of Lila bird-  who flew ‘fore she used her feet.

She made it up to the sky to visit with our Lord

She rests her head in Heaven now, Of this I am assured

Her work here was brief,  though we know it was finished

Her time here was short, But her impact, not diminished.

I’ll spy her face again one day, In God’s Heavenly home

We’ll be a family again, And we’ll never feel alone.

God will take away our worries, He’ll wipe away the tears

He’ll restore bodies to perfection, And remove the wrinkled years

Our hearts will be filled with joy, forever we will spend our days

Worshipping our Lord and savior and giving God all praise.
