Lila, Daddy and I got Baptized!!! Did you get to see the service from Heaven? We are very excited to announce our love for Christ in this way. We gave our testimonies, and of course, sweet girl- when I mentioned you going to Heaven- I cried, but I was happy to share my story. I just hope people realize that I meant all of what I said, that my heart genuinely yearns to follow Christ.
I miss you lots today, baby girl. I think about you constantly.

Lila, we took Ponce out to your spot the other day. It was his first visit. He acted funny as if he sensed something different. Maybe you whispered down to him from Heaven.

Lila, I sure wish I could still see you, hold you, and smell you. You always had the sweetest baby smell, like a mixture of milk, baby soap, lavendar and heaven. I would always tell your father how great it would be if you could just capture that scent forever and smell it all the time to remind you of how sweet a baby really is.
I have good days and bad days, but I miss you always....

Hey Lila Bird. I'll always think of you when I see little birds hopping around in the yard, and nests like this one that was made on our front porch. You and Maddie will always be my baby birds.
